1 Corinthians 2:4-5

My message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

Father, what would you like to show me about this verse?

Ivey, I feel your heart beat as you read this scripture. I hear the desire in your heart to have this be your motto. You are not alone, my child. There are many of my beloved seeking my power and longing to see the move of my Spirit in the earth. I have not left any of you. I am with you and I agree with the desire of your heart.

There is a deep longing for my works in the earth and it is not only from believers. There are people who want to believe that I save and heal and that I am able to resurrect their lives from brokenness to the miraculous. The unsaved are even more desperate for a return to my power than the children of my house. They need to see the moves of my power in the earth.

Fear not child, I am here. I am strong and I am with you. All my children can believe, for I have not abandoned you. In simplicity of faith, you will see miracles. Believe I am willing, believe I am able. Do not look to yourself or fear that you are not worthy. My son has made each of you worthy to receive all that I am and all that I have. You do not need a special anointing to believe that I will heal you or your land. You only have to believe that I am willing and that I am able. Be simple in your faith, be childlike. I will use your hands. You need no special skills, just a willingness to let my Spirit flow from you.

Stand, now, and see my deliverance upon the earth. Listen to the voice of my calling. I am near. I will do a great work in you and whosoever is willing. Let my voice be heard throughout the earth. Let all who are hungry come and be fed. I am willing, are you?

Questions for the Lord:

  1. Father, lead me in this simple faith? How can I release more of me to you?
  2. How can I give your Spirit greater release through my life?
  3. Your Question for the Lord
