Psalm 66:12,20

We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!

Father, what would you like to show me about this verse?

I will always deliver you to a place of abundance. However, sometimes my children stop following me before we arrive at our destination. Do not be in such a hurry. Believe that I will always deliver you, be patient and you will find that you always arrive just where you should at just the right time. It is in my nature to bless, keep and protect you. Through the fire, despite overwhelming floods, I will always be with you and will set your feet on solid, dry land. You will arrive in Canaan, in the land of blessing.

I will never withhold my love. Journal about my love over and over because I never tire of telling you how much I love you and you never hear it as big as I mean it. All my children need to hear continually of my great love for them. Of course I will deliver them; of course, I long to take you all to the place of abundance. That is what love does. It is who I am. There is more that I would do for you. These words do not even begin to express how much I want to help you in all you do. Do not forsake hope in the time of the flood. Believe in me. Believe I love you and you will always triumph over the circumstances. You and I, together we are bigger than any challenge. Together we will scale the heights. You are meant for the high places. You were made to breathe the rarified air of the mountain top. I am your Lord and I will provide.

Questions for the Lord:

  1. Father, how can I open my heart to receive more of your love?
  2. How can I live in more confidence and patience?
  3. Your Question for the Lord
